What does the Two-way crossing sign mean?
Warns that a road ahead crosses yours with traffic going both ways. Watch for vehicles from left and right.
Also known as: Two-way traffic crosses one-way road
What it means
A route crossing the road ahead carries two-way traffic, so expect vehicles from both directions.
The arrows point left and right, across your path. If they pointed up and down, they would warn of two-way traffic on your own road.
You often see it on a one-way road, where you might otherwise expect traffic from one side only.
Where you'll see it
On one-way roads before a junction with a two-way road.

Mistake: Only looking one way at the junction.
Instead: Traffic on the crossing road comes from both directions. Look both ways.
