What does the Other danger sign mean?

Warns of a hazard that has no symbol of its own. A plate underneath says what the danger is.

Also known as: Exclamation mark sign

What it means

There is a hazard ahead. The plate under the sign tells you what it is, such as an accident or a hidden dip.

The exclamation mark is used for dangers that do not have their own warning symbol.

Read the plate, slow down and be ready for the hazard it describes.

Before a hazard that has no symbol of its own, with a plate naming it.

Rules to know

  • The sign warns of other danger, and the plate indicates the nature of the hazard.
