What does the No motor vehicles except solo motorcycles sign mean?

A car in a red ring means motor vehicles are banned, but solo motorcycles may still use the road.

Also known as: No cars

What it means

No motor vehicles except solo motorcycles (those without a sidecar).

The red ring prohibits entry. The black car shows the kind of vehicle that is banned: motor vehicles with more than two wheels, such as cars and vans.

Solo motorcycles, which have no sidecar, are exempt and may still pass.

Where you'll see it
