This temporary sign is used where road workers are in or very close to the traffic lane.
Slow down, keep a safe distance and concentrate on the road ahead, not the works.

The sign warns of a temporary hazard: vehicular traffic should proceed slowly, owing to workforce in the road ahead.

Common mistakes
Mistake: Speeding up when no one seems to be working.
Instead: Workers may step out from behind vehicles or equipment. Keep your speed down through the whole area.
